Two Friends and One Horse

/
Orto- Da Theatre and Tzavta Theatre

A touching Drama about childhood and adulthood, religion and secularism, love and morality, and a single promise made between two friends.

Mally Shabu, being interviewed for the release of her new book about finding faith in orthodox Jewish practice, receives a phone call that shakes her world. Nina Arbiv, her childhood friend with whom she has been estranged for years,  called her after watching a clip from the aired interview, while visiting her hospitalized mother.

The two are transported to memories of their past in the 70s. Memories of adolescent girls at risk, grappling with hardship through laughter and pain, play and adventure, many dreams, and one eternal oath. What happened between the two that broke their vow? Can the chasm of thirty years in their childhood neighborhood be mended?
