Three Sisters - by Anton Checkov
Three sisters, one brother, his bossy wife, a suitor, a lover and a husband - are all in a quest for true love, a warm home and self fulfilment in a play about people who wish to be happy yet constantly fail.
Three sisters conveys the tale of Olga, Masha and Irina who wish to return to their glamorous hometown, Moscow. They aspire to leave behind their grey lives, dull routines and lack of excitement by moving to Moscow, the place where happiness resides.
This adaptation investigate the affiliation between the classical play and the expressive world of physical theatre, and explore the cruel fine line between our ability to live life as it is - and our desire to pursue our dreams.
