The young Duchess of Malfi finds herself in a unique position after being widowed. She has money and she’s not subjected to male control.

Despite their warnings the Duchess secretly marries her love Antonio, who also happen to be her steward.
When Bosola discovers her secret, the furious brothers embark on zealous journey to end her marriage, and her life.
