A play by Tamar Levin after Ethel Pedley’s classical book.

A little girl named Dot gets lost in the outback and is rescued by a kind-hearted red kangaroo. Together, the two of them try to find a way to get Dot home.

A warm relationship forms between Dot and the kangaroo as they travel through the outback and meet many animals while searching for Dot's way home.
